In this series I transfer the problems explored in the film Three Billboards Outside Ebbing, Missouri, in the context of Russian reality.
Everything was mixed up on the territory of the Moscow kingdom: corruption and honesty, wealth and poverty, “kokoshniks” and police helmets, East and West, symbols of a long-past revolution, and an attempt to revive them.
Loneliness, fear, disenfranchisement, humiliation and total control by the authorities? They become an integral part of Russian reality. But there is nowhere to run and nowhere to hide, and even billboards remain without inscriptions, because the Russian space does not give us hope for changes.
